Abstract

This work aims to understand and strengthen the teaching of Botany regarding the four plant groups through a didactic box created as a teaching and learning resource. For this purpose, elements of complete plants, leaves, bark, seeds, fruits, and roots were collected in the field. A bibliographic survey was then conducted for species cataloging, which were subsequently properly stored. With the identification of the species, all elements were labeled with the corresponding information. The obtained information aids in understanding the plant groups: bryophytes, pteridophytes, gymnosperms, and angiosperms. The objective of the didactic resource is to provide a facilitating methodology for understanding the groups of the plant kingdom, highlighting their main differences.
