Mediações reflexivas no ensino da dança na escola:desafios e potencialidades na formação do professor de dança

Abstract

This paper addresses reflective mediations in dance teaching in schools, emphasizing the challenges and potential of dance teacher training. Based on experiences from the Institutional Program for Teaching Initiation Grants (PIBID-Dança) and the analysis of documents such as the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), the study highlights gaps in the training of specialized professionals and in the appreciation of dance as a curricular component. Thus, it proposes critical and reflective pedagogical approaches, highlighting the relevance of dance not only as an artistic expression but also as an instrument of social and cultural transformation. The conclusion reinforces dance as an indispensable element for the comprehensive education of students.
