Resumo
his paper presents a reflection on the theme: “Study on the pedagogical practice of the literacy teacher for young people and adults in a municipal public school in Tabatinga – AM”. It is a theme that still deserves much attention and discussion because it encompasses the formative process of young people and adults. Its general objective: To analyze, through theoretical authors and through field research, the contribution of the EJA modality to the life and formation of young people and adults. To support the study and seek answers to the objective, field research was proposed as well as bibliographical research of works by several authors who brought relevant contributions to clarify the theme. Through the knowledge of the authors, we found that the education of young people and adults has undergone several changes, expanding until it was recognized and valued, where it guarantees the right and access of young people and adults to school. Therefore, the study has been showing relevant points such as: without training, the teacher will not be able to teach in the education system. He needs to be constantly changing, seeking to improve his knowledge through other studies and continuing education to be able to work in his pedagogical practice with literacy methods, leading young people and adults to obtain knowledge about the content and helping them in their teaching and learning processes, so that they can have a quality education. And that EJA has a lot to contribute to the education of students.
