Resumo
This thesis presents the experience report of the Supervised Internship in the Theatre Education degree program at UEA (University of the State of Amazonas). It includes na exposition and analysis of the challenges encountered during the Supervised Internship, as well as the contributions it brings to teacher training with a focus on the Theatre program. The aim was to propose improvements to the practices of the teaching phase based on the review of the methodological procedures used by the students. The research was carried out through observations made during a field study at the school where the internship took place, in dialogue with the article by José Simões de Almeida Júnior, "Reflections on the curricular internship in the training of licensed teachers in theatre." It was found that the Mandatory Supervised Internship is of great significance in teacher training, and although the teaching methodologies adopted by the UEA students are aligned with contemporary practices, difficulties still arise when starting internship practices. Based on these results, we can conclude that there is a need to continue investigating strategies to improve this fundamental phase of initial teacher training in Theatre.
