Abstract

The pedagogical material that permeates each page of this book addresses the appreciation of Amazonian fauna, combined with the preservation of the cultural aspects of the ethnic group, providing a unique immersion in the universe of indigenous school education. The presence of the “alphanimals” is a possibility for the development of pedagogical practices that take into account the reality of the indigenous, quilombola, riverine, rural, riverine and forest people of the Amazon.
