Abstract

The book aims to share research and educational materials from the Rural Education Course at the University of the State of Amazonas (UEA). The result of an agreement between UEA and CAPES, the course was created to meet the needs of riverside communities in Amazonas, specifically in the municipality of Carauari. It is based on a theoretical-practical and dialogical approach, guided by the principles of Rural Education, and aims to train teachers who can work in a contextualized manner in the Amazonian reality, using research, teaching, and extension as the articulating axes of the curriculum.
