Resumo

Analyzing the possibilities that dance provides in an interdisciplinary learning process in the socio-cognitive development of elementary school students I, configured the objective of this research. The results confirm that body movement collaborates in pedagogical practices and teaching and learning processes. Movement has been present since the dawn of the world, through which we relate to everything we see and what we do not see, and in education it is fundamental to be valued. This research is qualitative and exploratory, and uses action research as a technical procedure. The process was developed at the Biologist Adolpho Ducke Municipal School, located in the Cidade de Deus neighborhood, and had as subjects children between 9 and 10 years old. In the development of the creative process, we sought to investigate movements based on the students' experiences and the perception of each child in the construction of a knowledge that had as its starting point subjects of the Portuguese, mathematics, history, geography subjects, consolidating itself by middle of the dance. It was noticeable the students' development towards the theme, through the reports of those involved in conversation circles and textual production. Among the references of this work we highlight, Marques (2003 and 2012), Ferreira and Falkembach (2012), Fazenda (2011), Papalia (2001) and Katz and Greiner (2015). Keywords: INTERDISCIPLINARITY; CREATIVE PROCESS; DANCE IN SCHOOL; SOCIOCOGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT.
