Resumo
This work is developed in the perspective of registering the theoretical and practical process of the montage of the variation of the character Giselle, in the first act, and later the realization of a re-reading of the same choreography. Such projects were developed as part of the final works proposed in the curricular components entitled Classical Dance IV and Classical Dance V - respectively, of the Dance graduation of the Universidade do Estado do Amazonas - UEA, located in the Escola Superior de Artes e Turismo - ESAT. For this, we approached discussions about classical ballet and the work Giselle (1841), by Adolphe Adam. The contemporary reinterpretation of Giselle (2018), developed by Akram Khan. And to support ourselves around the first-person reflection about the experience of remaking and rereading, the subjective and poetic crossings that happened during this journey, we used the methodological approach of Autoethnography, proposed by Fortin (2010). And because we observe the creative process as a transitory and non-rectilinear territory, we seek to tangent ourselves by Cartography, thought by Kastrup (2009) to support us during the reflections about the trajectory experienced in the construction of these dance works. Furthermore, we used the Creative Process Critique developed by Salles (2006) to reflect on the document processes, as well as the term Dramaturgy of Dance, discussed by Pais (2016), to detail the narrative that was constructed in the process of re-reading.
