Abstract

This research discusses and presents a possible application guided by the basic principles of a contemporary artistic language called Contact Improvisation, which acts as a trigger for creative processes. It is a practice that involves bodily interaction and sensory communication between participants, using the body and contact improvisation as tools for producing meaning and interactions in the artistic context. The research investigates how Contact Improvisation can help rebuild basic sensory experiences and strengthen the communication of affections during a creative process, starting from somatic practices, which emerge as a central element in the research, playing a crucial role in bodily availability and interaction between participants.
