O patrimônio cultural da cidade de Tefé-AM: as políticas públicas e o turismo.

Abstract

Bearing in mind the need for studies of public policies to safeguard cultural heritage combined with tourism, research is carried out on the cultural heritage of the city of Tefé-AM, as well as its public policies and tourism, in order to analyze these and establish relationships and tourism contributions. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the cultural heritage of Tefé and verify and analyze the public policies for the enhancement and safeguarding of the cultural heritage of that city. Then, a research with a qualitative approach is carried out, starting from the perspective of triangulation of data collected and analyzed from documentary, bibliographic and field research with photographic records. Therefore, it appears that the city of Tefé has a diversification of built assets of a historic nature and assets of a unique immaterial nature, on which there are few public policies aimed at valuing these, from this it imposes the observation that the tourism can be one of the vectors for valuing local culture as well as more effective public policies regarding the cultural heritage of the city of Tefé.
