Resumo
Analyzing the biographies and narratives of three black dancers, aiming to understand the process of historical development of the strength of resistance and black existence in dance, paired with the processes of racism and prejudice installed in the great classical ballet companies, sets the general objective of this Conclusion Work Course (TCC). The research is bibliographical, using, in addition to books, dissertations and articles about contents that cross this investigation, the resources available on the internet, such as podcasts and interviews on Youtube, to try to get closer to the biography and reports of the artists Janet Collins, Mercedes Baptista and Ingrid Silva. The fact that there are almost no other investigations in dance, already carried out, within the scope of the Dance Course of the Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, about this theme, justifies the accomplishment of this study, being able to contribute in the process of construction and promotion of research on the classical ballet and its ethical, aesthetic and professional relationship with black people.
