Abstract

The state of Amazonas is a region with great tourist potential, including religious tourism, which will be the main stage of this article. Religious Tourism is an important activity in the lives of believers, as it is present in people's daily lives, generating cultural and mainly economic development for all those who are involved in the activity directly and indirectly. Catholicism is a religion that has gained strength in the municipality of Fonte Boa, being present in everyday life and in the municipality's calendar of events. In order to find out about the Festival of Our Lady of Guadalupe that takes place annually in Fonte Boa, located 676.91 km from Manaus, we carried out this research.
