Resumo
This paper discusses and analyzes teaching models and teaching practice from the
methodologies presented by teachers, with data collected through a survey through a
questionnaire with open and closed questions addressing the main difficulties in
giving classes or discussing a particular subject. for the first grade of high school
when there is a transition from elementary school to high school, that is, from science
teaching to biology teaching, as it presents a scientific language when addressing a
certain content. Thus, a survey of the methodologies used by the teachers was
recorded, recording the greatest difficulties encountered in contextualizing such
biology content. Addressing several factors that influence directly or indirectly to
interfere with better performance and clarification of contents.
