Resumo

Soccer is a world-renowned sport, practiced in various contexts, one of these contexts is school, through physical education classes or after-school projects. The teaching of soccer varies according to each context. Therefore, the objective of this research was to outline a literature review in relation to the teaching of soccer in schools in its different contexts. This is a bibliographic review of the state of knowledge type. The databases used for the research were the Capes Periodical Portal, Virtual Health Library and Scielo, with specific descriptors. A total of 111 articles were found, which after filtering with inclusion and exclusion criteria, 8 articles were analyzed. After analysis, it was noted that there was a concentration of research on the teaching of soccer in schools in the southeast and south regions. Such research dealt mainly with teaching for everyone and teaching to enjoy soccer. The research demonstrates certain difficulties for teachers in teaching soccer, a possible justification being the lack of school infrastructure.
