Desafios do acesso à documentação civil: análise crítica à nova carteira de identidade nacional

Abstract

Access to civil documentation is fundamental for the full exercise of citizenship and civil life. The difficulty in obtaining documents, such as the new National Identity Card, can exclude citizens from basic rights, such as health, education and work. In this way, the research seeks to describe the challenges faced by citizens in relation to their basic documents. The methodology used is bibliographical research with a survey of literature on laws, doctrines and jurisprudence. It can be concluded that access to the issuance of the National Identification Card, despite presenting a proposal for better promotion of rights, proves to be difficult for its issuance, especially when all documents need to be free of problems.
