Resumo
This undergraduate thesis presents the revitalization process of the nursery at the Centro de Estudos Superiores de Parintins (CESP/UEA), aiming to transform it into a functional, educational, and sustainable space. The initiative involved structural actions such as cleaning, bench renovation, shading reconstruction, implementation of manual irrigation and composting systems, as well as the construction of new productive areas and social spaces. The methodology was qualitative, based on action research with a descriptive approach and active participation from the academic community. The results revealed a complete recovery of the nursery, the resumption of native, fruit, and medicinal seedling production, and the establishment of a space conducive to teaching, research, and outreach. The project also led to the creation of a practical guidebook with instructions for building sustainable nurseries. This experience fostered environmental engagement, reinforcing the role of universities in promoting sustainability and critical environmental education. In addition, part of the seedlings produced was used in environmental education activities with local schools, reinforcing the project's outreach and social impact.
