O papel da música no ensino da técnica de balé clássico

Abstract

This research aims to discuss the relationship between music and dance in the Classical Ballet technique class from the references found on the subject. In order to achieve this more general goal, I established the following specific objectives: To know the structure of the classic ballet class; Identify the changes of dynamics and rhythm throughout the class; Discuss the role of music in class and how it contributes to the learning of classical ballet technique. The methodology adopted has a qualitative, exploratory and descriptive approach and a bibliographic perspective. Thus, it was made a survey of theoretical references on the subject in question, seeking an approximation with the same. Based on the material found, it was possible to conclude that music plays a fundamental role in classical ballet technical classes, significantly influencing students' technical development and improvement. And that there is a continuous correspondence between the characteristics of the exercises and the musical accompaniment to its execution.
