A sabedoria popular dos coreógrafos do Boi-Bumbá de Parintins: experiências no processo de criação dos bailados das toadas.

Abstract

When talking about the Parintins Festival, it is a fact that the two bois-bumbás in the production of their shows produce an art of expression of the identity of the Amazonian man in a conscious and analytical way, evidencing the haughtiness of the Amazonian man immersed in his living and cultural space. All this experience is brought to the composition of the toadas. They are part of the project that will be destined to the Bumbódromo Arena, but they are present throughout a pre-festival season. They are played and the public dances and plays during the events and rehearsals of the bumbás. Therefore, we aim, through this research, to analyze the process of creating the choreographies of the dances of the bois-bumbás from Parintins, based on the experiences of the choreographers from Parintins, specifically the boi-bumbá Garantido. We collected data about the dance of the boi-bumbá from Parintins, so that, having the understanding about this semiotic space, we got in touch with the choreographers who elaborate the choreographies for the toadas, in order to understand from the experiences of each one of them how proposes the development of the creative process and its experiences. From the reports of the dialogues, we analyzed the information from the choreographers of the Boi-Bumbá Garantido, and identified common and distinct elements from the choreographers' discourse.
