Resumo
The process of teaching and learning depends on many factors, among them
interest, creativity, and motivation of both teachers and students. A
introduction of new methodologies applied in the classroom makes knowledge more
more enjoyable and less monotonous. Therefore, the present research aims to
apply hydroponics as a pedagogical tool helping the teaching and
education with students of the 2nd grade 01 of the Full-Time State School Arindal
Vinícius da Fonseca Reis. The method used was the construction of a portable
portable hydroponic system during biology and chemistry classes. As the main results
observed, we can highlight the students' performance before and after the classes that
was measured using pre and post tests, as well as their interest in the classes and participation.
participation. It was possible to conclude that this methodology was accepted by the students,
contributing to their knowledge. In this way, it was evident that the link between theory and practice
between theory and practice facilitated the understanding of all, and that the teacher when using
new methodologies of this nature in their classes, will achieve great results in the teaching learning process of their students.
