Resumo
This article aims to understand the challenges encountered in the work of school life assistants in the process of inclusion of students with disabilities at the Escola Municipal Raízes doconhecimento in Tefé-Amazonas. In order to bring to light the reality faced by students and teachers in a public education network, a reality that is now more visible in the eyes of society, bringing a context about inclusive education and mainly the support provided by School Life Assistants (AVE), nomenclature used by the municipality to refer to School Support Professionals. To develop the article, research was conducted using qualitative and descriptive approaches, seeking to find out what happens within the reality of a school that aims to include students with disabilities. In this way, the article sought to: highlight the importance of school inclusion from the perspective of the right to education; highlight the role of the School Life Assistant; Identify the training received and learn about the main support obtained by AVEs, in the School Inclusion process. Therefore, this study is of fundamental importance for everyone, as it brings to light the reality of Brazilian schools, and can also serve as future research involving the topic studied in the municipality of Tefé-Amazonas.
