It deals with the public policies of access to higher education, specifically of actions that prepare students to compete for positions in public universities. It presents mechanisms to minimize the process of exclusion that the low-income population, in terms of access, permanence and success in the university, pass through. It discusses the contribution of the Pre-Calorie Project of the University of the State of Amazonas to this context of inclusion, since this project aims to provide opportunities for high school students and those who have already completed it, especially those who do not have the means to pay for studies At the pre-college level, not excluding people with special needs, the real condition of competing for vacancies in public universities, aiming at successful selection processes for admission to higher-level public courses. The methodology of article construction involved bibliographical and documentary research, presenting brief considerations about the political and historical-cultural scenario of Brazilian education, more precisely, the challenges posed to public universities that implement alternatives for an inclusive education, disaggregated by practices essentially based on the Materialization of an increasingly segregated society project. The methodology of the project, in progress, is made explicit throughout the article. The partial results point to the recognition of the role and limits of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in order to expand the attendance of this public, graduates and high school students, potential university students. The limited spaces of the supporting texts and the test, TV and radio batteries offered by the Project can and should be strengthened, broadening the Project's performance in terms of effective contribution to education, avoiding being configured as a mere preparatory to competitions. The greater concern with the process and not only with the Project's product, presupposes movements between understanding and proposing, from a more interdisciplinary approach of the interrelation between development and education, to ways of being and doing in the university and in the school.

Tecnologias para a educação, tecnologia assistiva e inclusão escolar: primeiras aproximações
(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2017-08-29) Jennings, Carlos; Lima, Osmarina Guimarães de; Brito, Jane Lindoso
It addresses partial data from a research that aims to analyze the impact of teaching, research and extension experiences on the initial training of undergraduate students in Mathematics and Pedagogy at the State University of Amazonas. The bibliographical and documentary research subsidizes the research work, having as subjects of the study 07 academics of the Normal Higher School / UEA and 03 higher education teachers. The work is based on a perspective of articulating technologies for education, assistive technologies and school inclusion, seeking to broaden the understanding of this subject that has distanced itself from the school reality, although the debates and theoretical-legal frameworks have advanced in the last ten years. The research is in the initial phase, presenting in this text the experience of academics in planning and supporting the coordination of the First Workshop on Educational Technologies: Breaking Paradigms, held by the State University of Amazonas on December 1 and 2, 2016. The Data presented had as sources of consultation scientific articles of national researchers, books of the area of education and technologies for education, as well as reports produced by the academics about the Event. The current results demonstrate the students' perception of the contribution of this activity to the academic and professional formation, but also evidence their motivation and need to deepen on the subject. In summary, the text is an invitation to reflect on the academic trajectory based on teaching, research and extension. In addition to portraying the limits and possibilities of this formative process in the perspective of the school inclusion with the support of the technologies for the education, articulated to the assistive technology. This is a preliminary work of the team of student researchers, supported in the individual report produced from this Event.

The text inaugurates reflections of a research project, aiming to analyze the impact of the academic formation in the professional life of the students graduating in the Pedagogy, Mathematics and Biological Sciences of a public university of Manaus. The initial stage of the research deals with the training axes of each course. The article intends to punctuate aspects of the teaching work in the History of Mathematics discipline, conceiving the teacher formation as epistemic construction anchored in teaching, research and extension. Hence we chose the History of Mathematics as one of the axes of action-reflection-action of mathematical knowledge. Bibliographical, documentary and empirical data collection will support research, aiming to contribute to the discussions of the professional profile, the perspectives of the academics and the demands of the world of work. One of the proposed results is the elaboration of a consolidated report, evidencing qualitative parameters that contribute to the evaluation and reformulation of the courses on screen.

This work is the result of a field research carried out in a housing complex in the western zone of Manaus, whose central objective is to know the daily life of children playing paper parrot on weekends in Conjunto Cidadão X, located in the Tarumã neighborhood. At first, we brought the Brazilian Federal Constitution of 1988, to highlight the right to leisure of people and especially of children, this being a social right for all Brazilian citizens. In the second moment, through the theme "Playing the Kite of Paper - The practice of leisure in the western zone of Manaus", we characterize the children (boys of different ages) who attend the "pipódromo", based on their speeches collected through Interviews. Through the interviews, it was possible to analyze the basic social needs of the residents of the set, as well as their leisure practices.
