Resumo
The present work entitled "Dançando mathematically: possibilities in the school space", is the result of research from an exploratory and participatory field study, about how dance through interdisciplinarity can stimulate mathematical learning in the 5th year of elementary school, under the view of the theory of multiple intelligences of the psychologist Howard Gardner, especially the kinesthetic-corporeal, and logical-mathematical intelligences, understanding that these are manifested in different degrees in each individual, in which a higher degree can be used to stimulate the other, in this case, the logical-mathematics so valued in the school context. Together with her, several authors were talked to who enriched the process of theoretical construction of this research, who pointed out possible paths for cognitive approaches in pedagogical dialogues. Normally, mathematics is not taught by dancing, but in addition to the possibility of dancing, it was possible to stimulate logical-mathematical learning in a seemingly improbable pax de deux, which takes place on stage where the spectators may not have stopped to appreciate it.
