Resumo
This work aimed to describe the creative process for the production of costumes in the Amazonas Dance Company, specifically for the presentation “Architecture of the Body” by choreographer Josias Galindo, which brings to the debate questions about the human body in relation to the clothes that wear it and the nude in contemporary society. Based on INGHAM (1992) and COVEY (1992). Data were collected through documents and observation to be analyzed and related to published academic research. As a result we can realize that as much as the costume design process is not crystallized, the stages of the costume creation process in the choreographic work “Architecture of the Body” are not uncommon in relation to processes of the same nature since it is proportionally related to the proposed process of Ingham and Covey.
Keywords: Creative process, scenes elements, costume, dance.
