Resumo
The World Health Organization (WHO) lists 80% of the population of developing
countries practicing traditional health practices and 85% of their plants or
preparations. Over time, various clinical procedures used to use medications have
been recorded, but overuse or misuse can cause harm and harm to health. Knowing
the importance of phototherapy, this research aimed at conducting a survey of the
main herbal and medicinal herbs marketed in the urban area of Manicore - AM,
seeking to demonstrate the importance of these drugs for the population. I) Perform
the survey of herbal medicines marketed in 3 drugstores in the urban area of the
municipality; ii) Conduct a survey of medicinal herbs sold in the Green Pharmacy
located in the urban area of the municipality; iii) Identify local knowledge on the use
of herbal medicines and most commercialized herbs; and iv) Analyze how to use and
induce herbal medicines and medicinal herbs. The use of medicinal plants is part of
the popular culture of various regions of the world, especially in large urban centers
and was also found in the municipality of Manicoré-AM. The use occurs throughout
the year and is mainly related to the fight against diseases such as flu, colds,
stomach aches, insomnia and mild symptoms of depression. From the circumstances
found in the observed research, the people have science who are and for treatment
are using herbal medicines or medicinal herbs, indicate that the knowledge passed
down from generation to generation are still sources of trust for patients. However,
they unknow the potential harmful health effect can be caused by continued use.
