Resumo

Technology tools are present almost everywhere that increasingly connect to an unlimited number of people and information like those placed in the farthest places on the ground. This research aimed to describe how teachers and students' perceptions about the use of information and communication technology tools in the Natural Sciences teaching process. For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied to teachers and students using questions about the use of technological tools in science classes. In addition, two classes were adopted and applied, one using technological tools and the other using the traditional teaching method only with the aid of the textbook. With an application of the questionnaire to teachers, it was possible to identify the lack of time to prepare the classes using the technological tools, if shown as a limiting factor for the use of this method in the science classes of the participating school. From the results obtained, it is possible that information and communication technologies are able to influence students, allowing a better understanding of students and consequently improving learning.
