Resumo
This monograph presents the results of a bibliographical and documentary study on
teaching practice and internship experiences in youth and adult education. Its general
objective was to analyze the relationships built up between the formative trajectory within
the University and the internship experiences in Youth and Adult Education - EJA. In this
sense, we developed the following specific objectives: To understand how Youth and
Adult Education (EJA) has been constructed in its historical and legal aspects. To reflect
on the contribution of the Pedagogy course to work in Basic Education, more specifically,
in Youth and Adult Education - EJA and to highlight what reflections result from the
articulation between the theoretical study and the experiences in the Internship in Youth
and Adult Education - EJA. For the theoretical foundation, we studied the productions of
important authors in the field, including Selma G. Pimenta (2006), Moura (2003), Guasso
(2019), Haddad and Di Pierro (2000), among others. The methodological procedures
involved documentary and bibliographic research, as well as re-reading the Internship
reports, specifically report III, the elaboration of the theoretical and documentary
foundation, following the qualitative approach. Reflections built up throughout the
training process were also used. The research was based on the National Education
Guidelines and Bases Law No. 9.394 of December 20, 1996, the National Curriculum
Guidelines for Youth and Adult Education of November 2000, Resolution No. 3 of June
15, 2010, among others. The results show the contribution of the internship to reflection
on pedagogy training, based mainly on the exercise of reflecting between theory and
practice through the readings carried out, the action plan in perspective and other
interactions with the reality of Youth and Adult Education. In this way, it is concluded
that the internship practice contributes significantly to the student in the context of
encouraging them to constantly seek improvement, self-assessment, self-knowledge and
the formation of their own teaching practice, where they will broaden their vision of
education.
