Resumo
This research aims to show how spirituality and care
give power to the process of initial teacher training. The problem of
research is: In what ways are the ideas of spirituality presented in Michel
Foucault and their effects on initial teacher training. To this end, the general objective
of the work was to investigate the idea of spirituality in Michel Foucault and
its effects on initial teacher training. In the same vein, the specific objectives
are: to study self-care and spirituality from the perspective of
Philosophy of Difference; to map the ideas of spirituality in Michel Foucault;
to discuss the effects of the ideas of spirituality in Michel Foucault on the initial training
of teachers. Spirituality and self-care make the constitution of the
subject an art of living, teaching ends up becoming an extension of
life, life pulses, the guarantee of freedom that this new way of
living brings makes the subject critical, leading to an ethical stance, freeing him from
ties and walls that may be holding him back
