Abstract

This work is part of the Collection Education in the countryside, waters, and forests: weaving teacher training curricula in the Amazonian context, and seeks to contribute to the teaching and learning process of mathematics by contextualizing mathematical content so that students understand the importance of the subject in everyday life. In this way, teachers contribute not only to the academic education of students, but also to the strengthening of their cultural identities and the development of their communities.
