Resumo

Teaching History in Adult Education (EJA) is already a challenging task, but when the teacher encounters students with special needs, this mission becomes even more complex. Proposing a diverse and inclusive learning experience requires specialized and pedagogical knowledge, as well as care and patience. Given these circumstances, this research arose with the objective of investigating possible aspects related to the diversity that lead History teachers in Adult Education (EJA) to have difficulties in applying equal teaching to special needs students. The research was conducted in a municipal school in the city of Carauari, based on problems observed during supervised internship I. Hypotheses were raised, and based on them, a questionnaire was proposed for the teachers. The results were analyzed and compared with the hypotheses, and finally, the results achieved were presented, seeking possible answers that explain this reality.
