Resumo
This experience report aims to analyze teaching practices in History. The methods used for this research included bibliographic readings, scientific articles, and many other works. It was based on an experience report of teaching practices in elementary education, conducted at the Salum de Almeida school in 2023. The research results were based on analyses of field notes. The methodologies analyzed from a scientific perspective demonstrate the effectiveness of educational theories in the History curriculum. The work presents the author's reflections on the teaching-learning process and highlights the teacher's praxis as a fundamental act in their planning. It emphasizes the practical moments of implementing the action plan, records observations within the school environment, and the problems faced by the educator in developing their teaching strategies. Education is of paramount importance to human beings, leading us to conclude that well-structured teaching and learning strategies result in the assimilation and construction of educational knowledge. Therefore, educators teaching the History curriculum component should consider the various scientific methods important to their practice.
