Item Estratégias didáticas para o ensino de ciências: um estudo comparativo entre o ensino tradicional e o uso de metodologias diversificadas na Escola Estadual Danilo Corrêa(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2019-12-15) Lima, André Mesquita de; Cavalcanti, Maria do Perpétuo Socorro da Rocha; Silva, Karen Rayane Medeiros daThe present work is the result of a research carried out during the undergraduate course in Biological Sciences, which aimed to investigate the didactic tools that arouse the interest of students contributing to the promotion of meaningful learning. Therefore, the theoretical framework is based on the works Vasconcelos, Praia and Almeida (2003), Bosso (2014), Moreira (2012), among others referring to the possible existing forms of teaching. Students from the 8th grade classes at Escola Estadual Danilo Corrêa participated in the research. For data collection, questionnaires referring specifically to the Teaching of Sciences, as well as a period of observation of the teaching practice of the school. After the observation period, different strategies were applied to the students, developed by the researcher, with the objective of arousing the students' interest in Teaching in the discipline of Natural Sciences. Then, the last questionnaire was applied in order to seek the perceptions of the students in relation to the use of diversified strategies in Teaching. The results achieved show the contribution of different active methodologies to the process of an emancipatory teaching, strategies strongly capable of meeting the needs faced by the School in relation to infrastructure.Item Jogo didático no ensino de ciências: utilizando a herpetofauna para abordar os temas mimetismo e camuflagem para alunos do ensino fundamental(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2019-12-15) Almeida, Taiza Lima de; Barros, André de LimaOur studywas realizedto the elaboration of a didactic game using herpetofauna representatives to contribute to the understanding and learning of the eighth grade students about the camouflage and mimicry themes. The study was conducted at the Benício Rodrigues Pena Municipal School, located in the municipality of Boca do Acre, Amazonas. The target audience were elementary school classes. To this end, we designed a questionnaire (pre-test) to assess students' prior knowledge of these topics in both classes. For I class we make and apply a didactic game and in J class we only do one traditional lecture class. Our objective was to evaluate the effectiveness of the game in the teaching - learning process of the students on both themes. For this, a post-game questionnaire and an after-class questionnaire (expository) were applied. Data analysis was done quantitatively and qualitatively after each activity performed in the classes. Our results showed that students who participated in the class using the game as a teaching tool performed better during the completion of the final questionnaire compared to the students who took the class in the traditional way. Thus, this study demonstrates that the use of playfulness has been shown to be a positive reinforcement for science teaching and that the inclusion of this method in classes should be encouraged.
