Resumo

This work involves the production of teaching materials alternative for teaching Human Embryology, specifically the first phases of embryonic development, made with alternative materials that are easily accessible and reusable. The study was developed with four classes from the 3rd year of high school at Colégio Nossa Senhora do Carmo, in the municipality of Parintins-AM, based on research with teachers, application of expository classes and practical classes, aiming to contribute to better retention of Embryology contents and better student performance. With this, the objective was to bring teachers a new methodological strategy, placing the student as an active center in the creation of materials, seeking to improve and facilitate the teaching and learning process. After analyzing the before and after implementation of the activities, positive and relevant results were observed, and the importance of using teaching materials and dynamic and meaningful practical classes was also highlighted.
