Resumo

This work is part of the Collection Education in the countryside, waters, and forests: weaving teacher training curricula in the Amazonian context, which addresses teacher training, focusing on current trends and approaches. It is structured in three units: the first examines theories and practices in teacher training and knowledge as a paradigm for sustainable education; the second investigates trends, environmental education, and the interface between formal and teaching knowledge; and the third emphasizes the reframing of successful practices, with the support of audiovisual resources to reflect on Amazonian realities and challenges, aiming to ground praxis in the school environment.
