Item Aprendendo em casa pelas ondas do rádio os desafios enfrentados pelos professores na alfabetização das crianças no período da Pandemia Covid 19(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2023-08-29) Pinheiro, Fabiane Prata; Figueiredo , Ângela Maria Rodrigues de; Figueiredo, Ângela Maria Rodrigues de; Costa, Lucélida de Fátima Maia da; Nascimento Filho, Virgílio Bandeira doThis work is the result of a qualitative research, whose theme is “Learning at home through the radio waves: the challenges faced by teachers in teaching children to read and write during the COVID-19 pandemic”. This work addresses the challenges faced by teachers when teaching their students to read and write during the pandemic, through classes given via radio and aims to reflect on the challenges experienced by teachers in the face of this reality that has imposed itself on the world. For this study, it was necessary to go back to the historical background of radio as an electronic mass media that for a long time was the only vehicle for disseminating information. We also address literacy learning and teaching strategies, as well as the training needs of teachers that enable the insertion and use of technologies. For this, we adopted Freire (1989) as a theoretical basis; Soares (2003); Belloni (2009) and Santaella (2013). The methodology adopted was qualitative and data analysis was provided by 01 literacy teacher who worked during classes on the radio. Through an interview with one of the teachers who created the Program, it was possible to learn about the challenges faced in teaching children to read and write during the pandemic in schools in the municipality of Parintins. Therefore, the study carried out showed the importance of education, even facing several difficulties, teachers were able to carry out their work by taking classes to children, through the reach of the pioneer of communication, the radio.Item Brincadeiras das infâncias como espaço de mobilização de ideias matemáticas nos anos iniciais da escolarização(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2023-08-01) Pereira, Elen Ariane Freitas; Costa, Lucélida de Fátima Maia da; Souza, José Camilo Ramos de; Figueiredo, Ângela Maria Rodrigues de; Almeida, Whasgthon Aguiar deThe games performed by children provide numerous opportunities for learning and development, and also, the construction of mathematical knowledge. In this way, we established as a general objective to understand how the games performed in childhood can constitute spaces of mobilization of mathematical ideas in the initial years of schooling. We define as specific objectives: to know what theorists indicate about the games commonly developed in the initial years of schooling; verify the games that children develop at the time of physical education activities and recreational moments; identify the mathematical ideas mobilized in the context of the development of childhood play; and, to analyze the possible relationships between mathematical ideas mobilized in the context of games developed in childhood and mathematical contents taught in the early years of schooling. In this research, with a qualitative approach, we conducted a bibliographic survey of theses and dissertations defended in the Graduate Program in Science Teaching in the Amazon (PPGEEC/UEA), in the Graduate Program in Education of the Federal University of Amazonas (PPGE/UFAM) and in the Bank of Theses and Dissertations of the Coordination of Personal Improvement (CAPES). The theoretical framework was also constructed from authors who discuss mathematics, such as D'Ambrosio (2011, 2018); and on the games, such as Leontiev (1978, 2010), Vygotsky (1989, 1991), Brougère (1998, 2010), Kishimoto (2010, 2017) and Benjamin (2009). Subsequently, we made direct observations in the Physical Education classes of the 5th grade classes of the initial years of schooling, at the time of recess and in the recreational activities carried out by the school. Following the observation script elaborated, we verified the games developed by the children and identified the mathematical ideas mobilized. In this process, we recorded the games through photographs, and described them in the field notebook. To relate the games observed to the possible mathematical contents taught in the initial years of schooling, we performed a documentary analysis, by reading the official documents. As for data analysis, we used methodological triangulation, establishing relationships between the constructed data. The results obtained indicate that the games developed by children are diverse learning spaces, including mathematical learning, which can give meaning and meaning to the mathematical content taught in the school context. The technique used in the construction of data was the questionnaire with open questions applied to twelve elementary school teachers I and II who teach mathematics in public schools in Parintins. The results indicate that the prevailing beliefs in the school environment are multiple and both influence and are influenced by the strategies that teachers adopt to teach and evaluate the mathematics taught.Item Ensino de geometria no 5º ano: a contextualização em foco(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2019-11-27) Pinto Junior, Pedro Xisto de Souza; Costa, Lucélida de Fátima Maia da; Costa, Lucélida de Fátima Maia da; Silva, Simone Souza; Figueiredo, Ângela Maria Rodrigues deA long time the math teaching is the reason for discussion about its achieved difficulties and results. Particularly, there are criticism about the way how the geometry teaching works. In this context which monograph gives results of a survey, made for TCC specially. In a goal to comprehend how that contextualiation helps in a teaching and learning process of geometry in the primary 5th grade .The characters of that survey were primary students of a municipal school from Parintins and its respective teacher. Through work it has been established a dialogue with theorists who debates the geometry teaching and a significant learning as Nacarato and Passos (2003) Fonseca et al. (2009), Ausubel (2003), Moreira (2011). The indicated survey is of qualitative origin (MINAYO, 1994) and it uses the systematic observation and the participative observation, (MARCONI; LAKATOS, 2010) such as semi-structered interview (SAMPIERI; COLLADO; LUCIO, 2013) for creating the informations which are priorities descriptive and analyzed by triangulation method (BORRALHO; FIALHO; CID, 2015). The achieved results point that the using of known context by students in the pedagogical process makes the teaching much more instigating and attractive in way it helps to take place into a significant geometrical contents learning.Item Manifestações da cultura infantil na realidade amazônica(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2015-01-13) Chagas, Thamires Furtado das; Figueiredo, Ângela Maria Rodrigues deThe present work understands children as the center of a broad discussion about the construction of childhood through playful play, pointing to the need to make time / space available to experience childhood, thus enabling a more acute reflection at the University and, especially in the community, about the place of children and childhood in the municipality of Parintins. Where, the main objective aims to highlight the uses and appropriations of public spaces for children to play. In order to carry out this study, we investigated 02 neighborhoods in the city, 01 located close to the city center and the other one far from the center, the result of irregular occupation, and we use the assumptions of ethnographic research, using interviews with children to collect data and with adults (parents or guardians), developing direct participatory observation, and these data were recorded in a field diary and video recordings, which were made based on the principle of authorship / authorization of the subjects involved. In this way, we identify the most common games in the children's daily lives and relate the main spaces destined (or not) to children's play, highlighting the conditions of use by the child for their games. However, the recognition of children as a subject of subjectivity, necessarily involves the visibility given to them in the face of the society in which they live, that is, the space and the importance that they occupy in the social context, which led us to a broad reflection on the child and childhood in the context of the research. This is qualitative research developed in a municipal school in the city of Parintins. For the construction of the data, bibliographic research, an interview with the mathematics teacher, and observations in the classroom were used. The constructed data were analyzed through triangulation. The results obtained indicate that through differentiated methodological procedures it is possible to efficiently mobilize the cognitive process of attention, implying better assimilation of the mathematical contents.Item Resgate histórico da casa de acolhida e a sua importância na formação de crianças e adolescentes que frequentaram a instituição no período e 2013-2014.(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2023-08-28) Silva, Carlos Thiago Ribeiro da; Figueiredo, Ângela; Figueiredo, Ângela Maria Rodrigues de; Amoedo, Francisca Keila de Freitas; Dutra, Gracy Kelly MonteiroThe work presented is the result of a bibliographical and documentary study, whose theme: "Historical rescue" of the shelter and its importance in the training of children and adolescents who attended the institution in the period 2013-2014", focuses its bases from reflections on public policies for childhood and social inequalities that afflict many families, however. The work addresses the contributions of the Welcome House, as an institution of philanthropic nature, and the importance of this in the life of the graduates of the project, whether in personal or professional training of the same. This work aims to rescue history and know the importance that the project had in the lives of graduates. In addition to describing how the Reception House emerged in the city of Parintins, what were the objectives that led to its foundation, we also outlined the profile of the graduates of the years 2013 and 2014. In this attempt, we seek to analyze how the Reception House contributed to their training. For this we conducted a qualitative research, in a phenomenological approach, in order to know the personal trajectory of the subjects. Initially we reviewed the literature on care institutions in Brazil, applied structured questionnaires to graduates and interviewed the coordinators and founders of the institution. The analysis of the data was carried out through the organization of the information, discussions of the results, in the light of the theoretical foundation. The study showed that, even when there were no public policies, the Shelter House already assumed/ assumes an important role in the life of the community of two neighborhoods of the city and especially in the training of students. We assure that, in addition to an institution that develops artistic activities, the House has potential to transform the reality of children, adolescents, their families and a whole community, since it directs their efforts to contribute to citizen formation, thus importing the integral development of the human being.
