By analyzing these reports, we sought to highlight the construction of the memory of these former workers about working conditions, division of labor and gender inequalities within the factory environment. Fabriljuta operated between the 1960s and 1980s, implemented by large development projects for the Amazon region, and made Parintins, a medium-sized city, the main urban center of the Lower Amazon region, attracting migrants from different regions, whether from rural areas or from other cities in the Amazon, who would become workers at the Companhia Fabril de Juta de Parintins (Fabriljuta).Item Do inferno à Pagoa: a trajetória de vida de Manoel Eugênio da Silva, núcleo quilombola da Pagoa, Rio Andirá(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2022-12-19) Silva, Elen Mourão da; Rocha, João Marinho da; Rocha, João Marinho da; Carvalho, Mary Tânia dos Santos; Gomes, Jéssica Dayse MatosOur research refers to the process of memory construction and reconstruction of the history of the quilombos of the Andirá river, located in the municipality of Barreirinha, Amazonas. It starts from a concern regarding the trajectory of Manoel Eugênio da Silva, a quilombola character, where we analyze his trajectory through the memories of the oldest residents of the quilombo Santa Tereza and the Pagoa nucleus, as well as the memories of his family members. We dialogue with authors in the field of social history of black people, in the post-abolition period and with the methodology of Oral History (ALBERTI, 2011). The experiences and reflections recorded in this article are based on studies such as Ranciaro (2016), Siqueira (2016) and Rocha (2019), which deal with the Quilombos of the Andirá River and their processes of ethnic, social and territorial recognition. Within this context of struggle, the trajectory of Manoel Eugênio was silenced in the processes of producing the genealogy of the quilombos of the Andirá River. Therefore, we consider it opportune to recover aspects of this subject's life, through the voices of people who shared the post-abolition worlds with this character and what reveres the trajectory of the old Manoel.Item Título gênero e poder político na Câmara municipal de Parintins nas décadas de 1950 e 1960: trajetória de Geminiana Campos Bulcão Bringel(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2018-11-01) Oliveira, Roger Kenned Repolho de; Silva, Júlio Cláudio da; Silva, Júlio Cláudio da; Menezes, Lucineli de Souza; Dias, Naia Maria GuerreiroSince ancient times, societies have tried to subject women to men. This power relationship has been reflected in historical approaches, by illuminating male protagonism to the detriment of women's performance. The 20th century historiography brought to the fore new objects, approaches and problems, reflecting the transformations that took place in the political arena, such as the struggles and achievements of feminism in public spaces. The “historiographical revolution” gave rise to new social actors, including women. This article will deal with the female role in the political performance of Geminiana Campos Bulcão Bringel in the Parintins City Council. From the Oral History Methodology, we intend to analyze the trajectory of the councilor and educator and aspects of female protagonism in the political action of Parintins, in the Lower Amazon. In the memoirs about her performance, stories of political struggles fought inside and outside the Parintins City Council, between the 1950s and 1960s, reveal the transformations and achievements, often motivated or crossed by gender inequalities.Item Santos em comissão: as festas religiosas no Andirá-Mirim, Barreirinha-AM(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2018-11-13) Silva, Ronaldo Adriano Ferreira da; Rocha, João Marinho da; Rocha, João Marinho da; Corrêa, Rosimay; Silva, Júlio Cláudio daThe study discusses the cultural manifestation of a religious nature called “Santo emmissão” in the Andirá-Mirim Region.
